Nissan Note
Our Nissan Note has been off the road for 8 months due to my illness. We are about to sell it, but when I went to start it up today neither of the keys would unlock the doors. Any ideas please as to what has happened and what we have to do to get over it. Many thanks.

The emergency keyhole is on the passenger door handle ... from a Nissan Forum : "Near Side Front door handle - extreme right hand side of handle, look closely and you will see the shape of a key on the painted plastic cover, using the key blade stick it in the slot on the underside of the cover and pop it off!! It ain't easy but it will come off!!"

Flat battery I'd guess - not enough left even to operate the automatic locks.
Open the doors using the physical key in the keyhole (rather than the remote zapper) and then open the bonnet & get the battery charged. A friend/relative/neighbour should have a charger even if you don't.
You could try to use jump leads to start the car, but with a completely flat battery this isn't always the best idea.
