How Can I Join 2 Scart Leads?

I want to move my sky box and need a longer scart lead. I have 2 leads about 1.5 meters each. I also have a scart 'switch box', if that is what it's called. Can I plug both leads into this box and use it like a connector? Does anyone know please.

Why not just buy a longer Scart lead.

Places like B&Q sell them, as do many supermarkets.

I can't find a shop that sells a long enough one. I've only see 1.5 meter ones, plus this one cost me over £8 and I'm on the tight side. lol
