TS = Trading Standards. Are they alloy wheels on your car ?, if so it is fairly common for them to stick to the wheel hub if they haven't been removed for sometime. I have had to remove some myself by whacking them from behind the wheel with a hide mallet. To stop this occurring again I give the wheel hub a light smear of Copper Ease grease.

Do you have the last MOT ? the mileage will be on that. Actually modern cars with electronic speedometers are very hard to 'clock' you can't just wind the meter back as you could on the old cars. You need to replace the entire spedometer assemby which will cost so much it is not worth the small saving for a lower mileage.
This is more important than the mileage.

I once had a letter from a company after selling my car, asking to confirm that the mileage was correct. I'm assuming I had this as the mileage was quite low for a car of that age, but I only used it as a runaround. So, I'm aware of companies out there that can do this service on your behalf. I don't remember who they were though, sorry!
TS Whats that? the car is a VW Polo-2008.One of the problems was after only a couple of months I got to the car and found I had a puncture.I could not get the wheel off-solid!I phoned the dealer who said to bring it in and we will fix it!!!"I have fllat tyre!!!they said the warranty didnt cover me.I had to get the local garage to come and knock the wheel off and repair the tyre.I wasnt looking for tyre puncture warranty but the wheel hadnt just locked itself on-they had obviously done a poor inspectiion before selling me the car.This is a proper dealership not "Freds car lot!"
