Coworker Mad At Me For Keeping A Selfie...

Hi all. I have a '94 VW Golf 1.4 which is spitting out half of all it's coolant through the vent in the expansion tank when I'm driving on the open road. I've tried a lot of things to fix this problem and nothing has worked. Heres what I have checked so far
1. I have changed out the radiator and the thermostat. 2. I have removed all hoses and checked for blockages. 3. When the car is idling the temp of the coolant reaches 92, then the radiator fan comes on for 1 min, the temp of the coolant then drops to 88. During this all hoses are very hot and the coolant level rises and falls in the expansion tank. 4. When I rev the engine hard from underneath the bonnet there is no sign of bubbles coming up through the coolant level in the expansion tank. There is also no sign of oil and coolant mixed in the engine. These signs tell me the head gasket is OK.
At present I'm driving without the thermostat to keep the temp of the engine down. The cooling system seems to working fine when the car is idling but is a complete nightmare when Im driving anywhere. Any help from any of you guys out there would be greatly received!! Phil.
