I have a Renault Megane 03
Recently I have a water sound coming from around the base of the windscreen..
Is it fixable without paying Renault prices..

Sorry....it's a sound of water moving side to side when I'm driving..
Also....when the engines hot it's hitting that because of the sound I'm hearing..

Don't understand what that means.

The water sound that you hear while driving could be that the drains in the plenum chamber underneath where your windscreen wipers are, are clogged up. So as to not let rain water or water from car washing drain away. Have a look and see if there clogged up with crap such as leaves ext.

Also you should ask for recommendations for independent garages in your area.

You really don't want to be paying main dealer prices for anything
