Driving Test After Long Gap In Driving
2 Answers
A friend learned with a provisional licence years ago, and has now reapplied for his provisional.
He wants to take a couple of 'refresher' lessons and then apply for his Theory and Practical Tests.
Is any proof or recent driver training required before applying for the Tests?

When I needed to pick up on driving, I took a course of lessons with an instructor, who was able to tell me when I'd reached again a standard suitable for me to pass the test again. I think (personally) that more than a couple of lessons is necessary after a gap - road conditions and other people's driving have changed a lot over the years.
