I am considering buying a new car and I have found there are companies that negotiate with main dealers and obtain a considerable discount, which they pass on to the buyer - minus a commission, of course.
I used "brokers4cars" several years ago when I bought my last car. Hassle-free and got me a price well below any of the dealers I contacted. Delivery is via a main dealer and can either be collected from them or delivered straight to you.
Tora, After years of buying nearly new cars I bought a brand new Corsa. It has served me well. I will never again buy second hand from either a dealer or private. I had to get well in to my 50's before I could afford new.
Unlucky Tora. I bought an 8 month old Rover just before they went bust and had so many problems with it that I had to get rid. Guarantee was invalid. I had a Ford that when it rained or went through a puddle it would stall and then wouldn't start. I could go on. My new Corsa bought in 08 has never let me down. (Hope I'm not speaking too soon).
Tora, It was beautiful to look at but was a real pig. It cost me a fortune to try and get it put right. I gave up in the end. It was still a beautiful car though.
@unsureme, sorry that you find the correct answer arrogant and smug. Read all my posts before making a judgement. In motoring especially I do try to help. Jeza, unlucky mate any car can be a lemon, no doubt there are perfectly functioning examples of the car in question. I still maintain it is crazy to buy a new car, you may as well burn a wad of notes.
