peugeot 306 random key hole under bonnet
i have a peugeot 306, (turbo Diesel) and i recently discovered a key hole under the bonnet. When you lift up the bonnet it is in the Right hand corner, and is covered with a little cap. it is near to the battery, and to the right of the engine.
I can't find this in my manual, so does anyone have any idea what it is for?

If It was not factory fitted then it won't be in the manual. If your alarm ever starts to play up, ie. after battery removal or you turn the ignition and the car wont start, then a turn of the key (presuming you have one) would switch the system off, allowing you to get the car going until you can sort any problem out. If you dont have a key for it, and haven't had the car for too long it might be worth writing to the last owner to enquire about it
