I had to get some new tyres for my Fiesta yesterday, and I managed to blag a
test drive in the new Mustang ! ( my nephew is a Manager with the local Ford Dealer !)

It was only a quick round-the-block, but it was in the 5 litre, V8 and my goodness....that was some drive ! The car makes this wonderful noise.

I can dream I suppose.

Tilly....I couldn't even afford a weeks supply of petrol for the bloody thing !

Tilly...I have had a £5 Bond, since I was about 5-6 years old and its never won anything. But I still do my £2 a week Lotto, so who knows .....

Well......I do have a terrible desire to go out to the nearest Aston Martin dealer the morning after winning !

Did you try the line lock out, mikey ?.

Tony....not sure what a line lock out is, but the test drive was a fairly sedate trip around the block, lasting about 5 mins only !

We rented one when we were in Florida and previous the that, in Vegas.
It was a bit of a dream of mine to drive a Mustang in the states.

After the boy racer in me got his taste of the v8 noise and straight line acceleration, I was left feeling a bit underwhelmed by the "cheapness" of the interior and I didn't find the ride all together comfortable. In short, I would hire one again because its bloomin good fun but I would never want to own one.
