I have a number plate :- LO51 LOR I hve been offered £600 from one of the company's that sell your plate for you, I have zero idea how to sell it or even what's it's worth.... any advise greatly appreciated!!

It was given to me years ago, but times are hard so I need to sell it to raise some funds.....

I don't even see that as a Private Plate and we have 3 vehicles all on Private Plates.

I'd take the £600. It is not a reg that instantly 'reads' like something else if you see my meaning. I assume you read the 5 as an S so it say's 'Losi Lor', which is not a phase that, to me anyway, has a meaning other than a rather unusual name. Perhaps it has a meaning in another language than English?

Guess it has more meaning to me as my nickname is lorzy lor, and it (at a push ) reads that!! I will keep it with the comp I'm selling it with and see what I get, if anything!! Thanks for your help!!

then take it

and yeah as the antiques roadshow - I would never sell etc ( hur hur hur)
the intrinsic value ( it was me grandmumz) does not have a market value

I put into my mumz will that objets had to be offered within the family at 10% above market ( gets them to sell in family right) and in laws still sold on the open market so that no one knew ....

I would do some research and offer it to other companies of similar, ilk. See what they come up with.
