Repair Central Locking On Vw
3 Answers
Hi could anyone offer me some advice please. I have a problem with the central locking on my golf and have been quoted £350 to repair it. I’m thinking of trading it in now instead. Will I take a big hit on the trade in price if I don’t get it repaired beforehand? Is it worth having it fixed or not. Thank you in advance.

You haven't indicated what age/ value your present car is....but if it's an older car, I would leave it. If a newish car worth much more, then I probably would have it repaired. Remember, the £350 is the "retail" cost of the repair....to a dealer, it would be a much cheaper job.
