Smell coming from Corsa air vents

I have a 02 Vauxall Corsa 1.2 which has a fusty smell when putting on the fan, perhaps it could be the pollen filter if one is fitted but i don't know where to find or replace it, it hasn't got air conditioning, can anybody help or have any more ideas. Thanks PB

Strong possibility that it's a dead mouse in the ducting ! Quite a common occurence, apparently.

the pollen filter is underneath the plastic scuttle at the bottom of the windsreen its abit fiddly to get out and you'll need some torx bits remove the screws
