If you put the model - type and serial number into fords computer (was called OASIS) then this will give you a radio code. It is not meant to be easy - about 10 years ago ford restricted the number of daily dealer radio code enquiries. Some people have cracked the code and there are programs to do this. Although it is not obvious - it is there if you look hard enough.
