Anyone who subscribes to BT TV should have had an e-mail advising channels being removed. They are moving to NOW TV (Sky Streaming Services). The upshot of that will mean the loss of : Alibi, Animal Planet, CNN, Comedy Central, Comedy Central Extra, Crime & Investigation, Discovery, Discovery Science, Discovery Turbo, E!, Eden, Eurosport 1, Eurosport 2, History 2, Investigation Discovery, Lifetime, Movies 24, MTV, MTV Classic, MTV Music, National Geographic, TCM, TLC and W.

The replacement package will be all the usual free-to-view terrestrial channels from your aerial being Freeview. Additionally - and this is what you will pay for, will be the Sky entertainment Channels, MTV & Discovery (one channel on each only, meaning no Discovery Crime/Turbo and no Nat Geo Wild, Eden etc). That will be £12 per month. You can upgrade to the full entertainment package which will be the same with Sky Movies at £22 pm. If you want Sports, top whack will be £65pm.

Doesn't suit me at all, I'm not interested in Sky Entertainment which seems to prioritise USA content. I moved away from Sky about 5 years ago and really don't want to go back to them, but they have far more to offer in the way of channels. I'm going to miss the documentaries, so might invest in a Freeview or Freesat recording box and add Netflix.

Among the BT TV subscribers out there, I'm interested to know if your happy to stick with them?
