Hi, I bought a Ford 2006 RDS radio at a scrap yard, the car had a radio manual in it with a code... but it didnt match.

Can anyone please provide a code: the model is a 92FB-18K876-BA, serial number L052271.

I have seen replies where people have concurred on answers, this would be most helpful as I have now got to the bit where I have to leave it on 30 minutes!

Hopefully after the code has been entered correctly it will reset and the 30 minute wait will not be required: anyone confirm that please?

Bit off topic, but how much did you pay at the scrappy? And is it a CD player?
Try 0799.

Sorry, I am not very good at this: there were NO car cd players when this was created.

0799 is the 4 didgit code

499 is the 3 didgit code

Thanks guys, worked a treat and now installed in the car!!

Incidentally, for the guy who asked about how much it cost, I saw some at a car boot for a quid, advertised as "working", but that was before I had the code from these guys. I might invest a couple of quid and get them if I see them again, even if they don't work I need a fiddly little plastic holder for the display backlight and a lamp costs about a quid at Maplins anyway!

Will let you know how it goes.
