Can An Employer Reverse Your Redundancy...
Jobs & Education1 min ago
Hope someone can help me with this coz it's driving me mad!!!
When you go to start the engine, sometimes it won't - there is nothing wrong with the engine but you need to press a reset/fuel cut off button under the bonnet - then attempt to restart again - this doesn't always work straight away but will do eventually! This probelm only started last week and has never happened before that. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to it, its quite random - It was fine for the last 2 days then did it again today (making me 45 mins late for work!!!)
Does anyone have any ideas?

Found out about the button by accident really - the recovery guy cam out, looked under the bonnet, then got in & started it straight away - making me look like a right nana - luckily, while he was looking under the bonnet I was still sitting in the driver seat (coz I was freezing by bum off!) and I noticed him press a button, he didn't say anything about it - just got me to sign the form & drove away! When I got home & switched off the engine, I gave it a moment & tried again - suprise, suprise it wouldn't start, so I looked unde the bonnet & pressed the button & it started again!
I wouldn't care its not even my car, I've borrowed it off my parents as the cylinder head gasket went on mine last week & its getting scrapped (old Skoda, not worth the 400 to fix) - starting to loojk like I'm jinxed, cos the clutch has just burnt out on my Dad's car today after he came to give me a lift to work!!
