I've been spending months trying to fix the Mr. Heater Portable Buddy propane heater. I taked apart the heater by removing the back panel, and loosening up the nuts that hold the aluminum lines together, and sprayed air through them with the Ryobi Power Inflator. A Little Oil Came out the other side. I put it back togher, and the Pilot flame was STILL small/not lighting at all. Against my wishes, I went to office depot, and bought a $7 3oz can of compressed air. The little pen straw is what I needed to spray high pressure air through the pilot light line, the Ryobi Power inflator just doesn't produce as much air pressure to blow air through a tiny straw. I need the Ryobi Battery Operated Tire Inflator with a Moisten Needle. When I sprayed Air into the Pilot Light Line, and turned it back on, There it was! A huge pilot light flame bigger than when I bought it new. It was about 2 inches. All blue, and transparent. No Orange tip. Should I still be alarmed about that, oris that a sign of a great heater configuration?
