Insurance groups?

Does anyone know what cars are in which insurance groups?

I am looking for my first car and have been told that I should get a car that is in a low insurance group.

Can anyone explain or does anyone know of a website explaining the different groups and which cars fall into which group?

Also how much difference does engine size make with which insurance group a car falls into?

One way is to use the Parkers price guid for a car you are interested in and it tells you the group.

Cars are from group 1 to 20 1 being the least risk and 20 being the highest. So a fiat panda will be group 1 and a Ferrari 360 will be group 20. There is no direct corralation with engine size all though it can be relevant.
