Crystal Windows - replacement windows. Anyone any experience of them?

Wondering about replacement windows, does anyone have any experiences of a company called Crystal Windows - http://www.crystalwindows.co.uk

I live in the Midlands so that company is not known to me.

However, about 8 years I had the front of my house done by a similarly big company. The workmanship was dreadful, it was horrendously expensive for the quality and has been a huge disappointment.
The company went bust, my guarantee is worthless.

6 years ago I had the rest of the house done by a small local firm - no fancy showrooms, no salesmen and no brochures.

Half the price - excellent throughout. Talk to your neighbours for recommendations - good luck!

We have just signed up for replacement windows with Crystal last night based on the recommendation of a colleague. He said that the quality of the windows was excellent and the fitters were very good, all for a very reasonable price. His installation was in Harrow, ours in north London.

They are not a huge company like anglia or coldseal etc, and only cover the south of england. The salesman told us that they have been going for 11 years, and the companies house records certainly back this up (unlike BAC windows who have dissolved and recreated themselves recently)

The quote we got was very good, so we decided to go ahead. Will let you know how it goes!
