Can any1 help me when driving the car a high pitched noise started coming from the engine mainly when the trottle is hard down. Can any1 help me by telling me if they have had the same problem and what they did to rectify it.

what is the 'kerb' weight of a car as opposed to the 'gross' weight?

Could be the turbo, some are noisey but the only answer is to replace or have it overhauled if it is very loud.
