learner drivers again sorry
can a full driving licence holder with a manual licence who drives automatics accompany a learner driver who only holds a automatic provisional licence is he braking the law please help asking on behalf of a friend who isnt sure what the law says thanks

The law states that a person must have been driving with a full license for over 3 years and be over the age of 21 to accompany a learner driver.
Also a manual license allows you to drive both a manual and an automatic. However a automatic license only allows you to drive an automatic and so your friend (or whoever is learning) will have to take more lessons when wanting to drive a manual.
