Ford Galaxy S Reg Auto 2.3 Reversing Lights Do Not Work

I Have an S reg ford Galaxy 2.3 Auto the reversing lights do not work, i have changed the multi function switch on the bottom left hand side of the gearbox and still nothing, the bulbs and holders are all good, it starts as it should in park and netural. Any ideas?
