Can anyone help? i got a parking ticket outside my house for not displaying the permit, i did have a permit in the window but blew off the window, it is a privite company that give me the ticket.

I would refuse to pay them a penny - counter this by writing to the MD of the company asking for compensation for wasting your time - whatevver you do - don't just ignore this - these companies (for whatever reason) have got powers to enter your property and seize goods etc...

It comes to something when you can get fined for parking outside your own house.....

Presumably you live in an area where residential parking is controlled and you are issued a permit allowing you to park.

It is likely that the parking permits issued in that area have a list of conditions of use - one of which will be that it must be displayed clearly. Failure to do so will mean that you, correctly, will be treated as everybody else i.e. fined for breaking parking restrictions.
Ask them for the photograph and send them a copy of the permit.

Fingers crossed they never took a photograph of your windscreen!
Go to your local paper with the story. Bad publicity usually gets a good response and the papers get to do their bit for the community.
