Getting proof of no claim (NCB)

I had car insurance through a broker and decided to change to an on-line supplier. The broker's renewal notice did not declare proof of "no claim" and although the broker kept promising to send it, it never arrived. I will soon be in difficulty with the new insurance company who wants to see the proof.

How do I get my broker to send me the proof?

Or do I have to pester the insurance company?

Hi, did you complet a full year with your old insurance company ? if not that time with them does not count if you changed half way through the 12 months.
