i have got a mg tf and the engine manigment light has come on and the car has gone to half power what do you think is wrong with it?

The only way to find out is to go to the dealer to have their computer/diagnostics plugged in, it has gone to half power to stop damage been done to the engine.

It doesn't go to half power, it just makes a racket!
