HELP !
I bought the afore mentioned car last September. Other than the odd niggle I'd say i've been reasonably happy with it for the price. (600) Anyway, just recently, it has started to a bit jerky, particularly when tootling along at 30 or 40 mph. The problem clears when accelerating. I'm not what you'd call engine savvy, so please help using small words! Incidentally, it's mostly just been used for getting to work and back, which is only 5 miles each way, and I have only ever put regular unleaded in it. Any ideas ??

three relatively small words.......
get it serviced. :)

sounds like it needs a good flushing and maybe a new fuel filter. A service should sort it out and will also pick up any faults that may be causing you hassle.

Cheers sarnieken. To be honest, i guessed as much, just hoped they may have been a cheaper solution as i'm a little strapped for cash at the mo.
Thanks again.
Try drinking john smiths instead of guiness.. not the same I know but there's a pub near me that does it for 1 a pint on wednesdays. Should help toward your service ;o)
