i have recently bought a car with alloys and need to pump up the tyres but cant seem to get the dust caps off it looks as they are all in one any ideas please

What make of car is it?

All cars have removable dust caps, you need to be very careful trying to get the dust caps off, steel dust caps look nice but they can stick themselves to the alloy of the valve, you could easily break the valve getting them off.

try to get some wd40 on them before trying.

Use rubber or plastic covers.

Are they not the type of anti-theft dustcaps that need to removed by a locking key??

good point teash, if you get them off and still want to put metal caps back on use a little light oil in the cap before installing them
