My hands free has been kept in the lighter but now doesn't function, although the green light is on when the car lights are on. A new hands free doesn't work either. I have located the auxilliary fuse box under the bonnet, but the symbol for cigar lighter (lighted cigar !) doesn't appear. The handbook mentions a central fuse box behind the glove compartment but I can't see a lever at the back that you are supposed to push to the left to get at it. I read somewhere that the radio and lighter share the same fuse, but the radio works fine. Any ideas, or at least how do I check the fuse for the lighter (whichever and wherever that is) ? Thanks

unclip the glovebox and the fusebox is there behind
Get a torch and look up at the rear left side of the glove box and you will see the black lever to push . look carefully its a bit difficult to see . push it and the fuse box will drop down
