I know 4x4's will be having a huge tax put on them soon, and i was wondering, because my mum is thinking of buying one will a 2000 volvo XC70 2.4 petrol have a huge tax price ( as it isnt like a propper 4x4 its just raised estate basically) oh yeah this is in the uk by the way! : )

The car tax increase is on the emmisions not whether the car is a 4x4 or 4x2.
