Have 1996 Micra and the light to illuminate the dashboard panel does not work with headlights on. Is there a switch I'm missing or if bulb has gone does anyone know how to replace?

There could be a switch your missing, all cars have a roller type switch to turn off or dim the dash lights, look in your handbook to find it.
