cat c write off with no data added to v5????
4 Answers
I have just bought a cat c write off that was involved in a rear end crash, minor damage, bumper cracked, boot lid needs realigning, no damage to floor or chassis. My only question is the previous owner has stated that the v5 did not have any data added to it with regards to the cat c write off and i would like to know what i must do to get it back on the road, i know i must do a vic test but is it required as the v5 does not have any data added??? car is drivable and has mot and tax.

hi, the previous owner said it was a cat c? Vosa does state that there can be a `not recorded` catergory???? i`ll be picking car up tomorrow and will get a few answers from previous owner. I`ve no prob with the vic test but is it required???? in this case. Its only 36 for vic test, its more the hassle of traveling the 30mile to closest vic testing centre!!!!!!!!!!!! many many thanks in advancde for your comments.
