My partner is thinking of buying a new car and has narrowed it down to 2. Most important things are the mileage (as he does a lot of motorway driving) and maintenance costs.

Has any1 any thoughts on the above vehicles?

TIA

Honda is more reliable and will hold its value better than a Skoda.
I owned a Civic for just under four years. Apart from wear and tear items and services, the only thing that went wrong was a bulb in a switch on the dashboard.
It was the first Hona I have owned and have replaced it with another Honda without hesitation.

Thanks for you answers folks. Will have a trip round the car lots at the weekend and test drive them both... Will keep you posted.

Thanks again

For business use and extended motorway driving I would have the Skoda, in fact I did have one, and used to drive about 30,000 miles a year, mostly on motorways.
