hi, mondeo 2.0 tdci, 78,000 miles. vibration through whole car, can feel it badly on steering wheel, not sideways movement like wheel balance problem, not too noticeable up to 50 mph, but over 70 and onwards it is horrific. also, but I doubt if it is related, a growling noise that sounds like an exhaust vibration when you accelerate hard from 1800 to 2000 revs.
any ideas?
thanks, alf.

thanks aaronsearsear, I thought it might be, as I had a similar problem with an seat alhambra and this was very hard to diagnose, but with that I had one driveshaft done and it only half cured the problem, so thought I'd better ask before spending money.
thanks, alf.
