Fiesta or Focus?

Is there much of a difference in driving experience between a Ford Focus (say 1.6 TDCi) and Ford Fiesta (say 1.4 TDCi)? The reason that I ask is because I have taken a job with a fair commute (88 miles there and back) and am considering buying either of these (second hand) and am wondering whether the extra expense of the Focus could be justified. 50% of the journey is on motorway and 50% is on hilly A/B roads

both are highly capeable but with your regular long distances i would edge for the extra 200cc of the focus
