has stopped working and drops down a little of its own accord.
I've heard both front windows are on the same fuse and the drivers side works fine, does this mean it's the motor?
Is this a common problem?

i ahve changed a couple of regulators on these cars. the wire on the lifter breaks and snags up the regulator hence the window jamming. dealer part only im afraid

Is this part not easy to source from a scrappy?

Try e.bay for a new regulator they are far cheaper than the main dealers...
