car trouble

My car is struggaling to start on cold days, i have already changed the battery and this had made no difference. Can anyone help me as my bf is even more rubbish than me when it comes to cars (and i'm a female!!)

You do not say what car it is but generally you need to ensure the earths are good and that the ignition system is in good order. OLderr cars with points will benefit from an electronic ignition kit. Newer cars will need to go to a computer equiped garage for a check up. Maybe one of the sensors has packed ap allowing the wrong mixture on tart up.

if it is a diesel your glow plugs may need replacing.
