Why, when penalty points for speeding expire after 3 years, and can be removed from a licence after 4 years, do insurer's wnat details for the last 5 years?
I'm using web-search engine to get a renewal quote, and am being being refused a quote because my wife has 1 sp50 from Nov 2003 and an SP30 from Dec 2005; quotes are being refused as they will only allow one conviction per driver, surely the Nov 2003 offense has expired and should have no bearing, should I even inlcude it?
Thanks in anticipation.
