I ran out of de icer one day last week and so used cold water and then couldn;t see cos of the film of ice that appeared : ((
Daddy always has the wipers going to avoid the re-frosting. He doesn't do it so much now, though.
thats exactly what i do space -A bit of warm water and the wipers going - never had any trouble in nearly 30 yrs of doing so either

i asked because most people spend ages scraping the frost off!
IF you have any damage to the screen eg a *chip or a crack, DON'T be tempted to do it as it will crack your screen as the warm water causes it to contract rapidly , (*get the chips repaired !!! usually free with fully comp!!)
I have always used warm water and have never had any probs, its only a prob when there is damage and the water is too hot !!!
