I have an 03 reg 1.6 TDi Focus. For the 2nd time in 6 months it is suffering from loss of power. You can pull away in 1st and then the thing turns into a milkfloat! You can floor the accelerator and it only picks-up speed really slowly. It's OK around town but get on the motorway and it's embarassing! It'll do 70 down a hill with a prevailing wind. The last time it went in the garage the 'throttle pedal sensor' was changed. Has anyone else had similar problems!

Your car has probably gone into "safe Mode" this is to stop you damaging some part of the engine as something is not working properly, go to a decent garage that doesn't just swap expensive parts trying to solve the problem.
