calibra clutch replacement

Hi all, does anybody know if the 1996 2.0 8v calibra has the quick change clutch where you can remove a plate at the bottom of the gearbox to do the job rather than taking the box off ?

Hi a 96 calibra should be a 16 valve eco tech not an 8 valve so either it has had an engine change in the past or it is an older car that has been registered late, hard to tell but i would say no

some cavaliers and astras have this in 96 models, just depends on whether vauxhall fitted the gearbox that has the plate to get access to change the clutch quickly. fantastic idea though dont know why they didnt incorporate it into their more recent models.
