Wiper Blades
I have a VW Passat 1/9 TDI 2002.
I need to change my wiper blades a sthey are screeching and sods law I have my MOT next Thursday.
I have looked at the kind of blades so I know what to buy but never seen this kind before, the wiper blade has a pin on it and then the rotar arm has a hole and the pin slots into this with no other clips, and you just pull it off with no other clips.
Anyone seen these before and know where I can get these kind of blades, as there is no sign of anywhere I can put the usual clips in place and dont want to replace the whole rotar arm?
Ps) Driving home yesterday to and a stone hits my windscreen, its about 5cm inside from the drivers side so not in drivers view I dont think for MOT purpose, but I cant get it fixed prior to my MOT, do you think it will pass if I say its booked in for repair, even though in fairness its only about 50mm big at present, not sure if it will spread before the MOT?
Does this also effect car insurance when fixing/replacing windscreen as think it needs to be done as there are a few chips elsewhere on the glass. I assume there are no limits to how many times you can claim for windscreen replacement?
