The steering on my wife''s Vauvhall Corsa 1200 Automatic is pulling to the left. I got the steering & brakes checked and re-aligned at Kwik-Fit but this has not cleared the problem. The bloke at Kwik-Fit said it might be something to do with the gear-box. Could this be the cause ? Grateful for any advice.

any problem with your gearbox would not affect your steering, kwik fit are useless, why you went to them,i dont know.his answer just about sums them up,you might have a problem with a steering arm etc,get it looked at by a proper garage as it could be serious.
Hi John, Has your wife HIT THE KERB??? although they will not admit it, If so its either bent the Track Rod Arm, The if fitted Alloy Wheel, As stupid as this may sound, are the tyres the right size, are the wheel nuts loose? you may think these are stupid answers but i have seen it done, As regards the G/Box, that answer fails to amaze me?

Thanks to everyone for your answers. I'm no car mechanic but I thought the guy at Quickfit's answer that the problem was somehow linked to the gearbox wasplain crazy. I'll take it to a proper garage.
