Water pump leaking and replaced on a Ford Focus 1.6 LX 54 plate, 30,000 miles. Bought the car from a Ford Dealer 2 years ago.

Is it worth writing to Ford to complain?

Could I get my 175.00 refunded.
Thanks in advance

It's always worth writing on a 'nothing to loose' basis - apart from a little time and the cost of a stamp.

Politely state your case, include proof of purchase and a copy of your bill - photostats always, and see what happens.

Good luck.
all ford parts come with a 1 yr warrantee,if its within the yr then write,if not ,dont waste your time
With respect Normanthedog, A few years ago I had a Escourt with one Rear Shocker fault, A serial No off the shocker, the oil stain, they refunded me after a letter for the 2.

Thank you for your answers.
Just had the pump replaced this weekend. Actual miles were 30500. When I bought the car it had 6000 miles on the clock.
