citroen xsara 1.6

I think that I have an electrical fault on my xsara 1.6 LX
When I turn the ignition on my hazards come on and I just need to turn them off and I have no control over the fan setting at all (only works on full but starts and stops)
Please could someone shine some light as to what I need to do or what it could be?

On a serious note, what year is it ?.

Has it a tow bar fitted ?

Sounds as if it has had some extra wiring fitted in somewhere.

i suspect that these faults maybe connected if someone has had part of the dash apart to fit a radio or something it may be a plug not put back in properly or just a dodgy connection,check this if not recomend trying a new hazard switch as a first thing if its fairly cheap,the heater fault could be the speed resister at fault or just the knob/button you adjust to control it could be faulty.
