ford mondeo engine trouble

i have a ford mondeo 1997 2.0 ghia,it has only done about 40,000 mile and for the last few months it keeps jerking when i first start driving (about 2 miles) and at motorway the power drops every so often, ive had the leads and plugs changed and more but the problem is still there can anyone please help

hi dunkstar.sounds like it could possibly be a fuel starvation problem.could be that the fuel filter is clogged up ,try changing it for a new one (approx �10 from halfords )

you say you've replaced plug's & leads,what do you mean when you say more,does this mean you've replaced the coil pack aswell if not try that but ide do a compression test first though-just to rule out anything more serious.
