Clio starting problems
A follow up to my Clio not starting!! AA said it needed new starter motor, had one fitted, 120. 6 days later exactly the same thing happened, car wouldn't start. AA said this time the terminal to starter motor had corroded so replaced that. Maybe I didn't need the new starter motor after all??
Anyway, left work today & car was reluctant to start, 4 attempts & then it started. However, this time it was turning over just not starting, unlike before when there was nothing. Now I am hoping that todays glich was due to the damper weather & was just a one off. But if not what could cause the car to turn over but not start?
Any advice much appreciated.......

If the starter is turning over the engine but is only starting the engine intermittently the most likely cause is a dirty TDC sensor.
Join this forum and enter TDC sensor in the search box, it will tell you how to clean it or renew it, new one about 30
