Audi A4 B8 2.0 TDi ecu remapping

Hi,

Has anyone out there had any experience remapping the new B8? Is it the same engine as before?

What are the pros and cons or the remap, potential power gains, and the warranty implications. This will be a company car! Do dealerships ever kick up a stink at service-time?

doing this will also invalidate any manufacturers warranty you may have as the car has been modified against what the manufacturer recommends or has specified

Hi,

Had my Audi A4 B8(1.8T) mapped two weeks ago and there have been a few problems mostly with flat spots or an uneven flow of power going up the gearbox.I have a 30 day "warranty' if I am not happy to revert back to normal.I contacted the tech today and we are meeting up again next week.I think he is doing his research and development on my car as it is the first B8 he has done as the engine ,although a 1.8t,is different to the B7 unit.More to follow if you are interested.
