Ok, am at the final stages, have read the reviews etc., but...

I want a Vauxhall Astra Design Estate, petrol.

Taking into account the difference in road tax, fuel consumption and insurance...

What is the financial difference between a 1.8 and a 1.6?

I have been focusing on a 1.6 for a while now but there are none available - would a 1.8's running costs be too much of a difference?

If you're that worried about costs then you really need a car for no more than 1k

The Nissan is half the price with as many stars on this site. Once you own a Nissan and discover its reliability and the extra features etc tis hard to beat.
