My friend has an 04 Nissan Micra, and her PS has failed, the red PS light is on, i know it may need fluid , so we got the correct fluid for it, but we're not sure where the resevoir is.. am i able too get a picture of this online somewhere, .. if its nt the fluid it'll go to a mechanic, but i thought i'd give this a go first of all.. :)

Thanks xx

for your power steering to fail is a lot more complicated then just putting new fluid in the system, you really need a mechanic to look at the car in case there is a leak or the pump is faulty, just putting fluid in might not be the answer, and as it seems you are not compitent in car mechanics, get someone who knows what they are doing to look at it.

As the 2004 Nissan Micros have an electric motor to power the power steering you will have a problem finding a fluid resovoir.

The reservoir is in the steering column .. is that right?
AS I said your PS is worked by electricity not a hydraulic pump with oil in it.

There is no correct fluid for it as you said you had bought, fluid of any sort is not used by your PS.
