meta m36t immobiliser

hi all, im currently helping a mate to re build and re spray a 1981 y reg escort xr3i and we removed the dash ripping out the immobiliser key port, we cannot re start the engine and all the wires are black ! can anyone help in helping us to remove the immobiliser completley as were stuck scratching out heads !

does it turn over ? if it does then it probably has been wired to the pump relay. that was usually the easiest option, check the feed to it or can you hear it clicking ?
Do you know where the main module is (immobiliser)?
its only usually 2 wires to complete a curcuit to get it to start sounds a bit basic but find a live and just try a few variations of the wires , NOT 2 live though !!
The old TWOCKERS bless em managed to get around them without to much trouble

thanks for reply mate, no it doesnt even turn over ! the cars not been used for 10 years but my mate had it running last week, but since the dash came out we have come stuck ! we have found the black box to it in the side of the inner wing

tried push starting ?..i have seen some systems that are connected to the s/motor

just remember the immobiliser works by breaking curcuits, just need to know which one(s)...they guys who fit these go for the easy options.
In theory if you traced the wires from the box it should give you and idea.

might be easy, being a ford every wire goes to the same place !!!!
